Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

Quickbooks Online helps us keep track and manage all of our accounts. It keep us organized and top of everything, financially speaking. We can easily track profits, expenses, sales, and taxes from within Quickbooks. It's also incredibly easy to setup as an employer and add new employees (It takes the headaches out of paying payroll taxes as well).

  • Great help with keeping track of your money flow
  • Very easy to keep track of recurring invoices and customer payments
  • Even after you've purchased the product Quickbooks will advertise loans and plugins to you occasionally
  • Invoice filtering doesn't default to most recent, but defaults to open invoices and then some random ordering
  • More complicated processes require an accountant version of Quickbooks to complete
  • Given us an easy way to manage and keep track of our money
  • Helped us know what smart expenses we could make and what we can afford to spend on
  • Given us clear objectives and paths to growing financially
I haven't used any other accounting software aside from QuickBooks Online in great enough detail to really compare any of them. Of the brief interactions I've had with competitors, the QuickBooks Online UI is much cleaner and easier to understand especially when it comes to customer invoice management. With QuickBooks Online, I've not had a reason to use another software.
It is well suited for small businesses and medium sized businesses that need access to QuickBooks from any location, especially if you're an organization with a mobile workforce. Not having to deal with a local QB file is really great for work at home solutions and businesses with offices in multiple locations.

Using QuickBooks Online

2 - Accounting, Payroll, taxes, etc. QuickBooks makes it easy to invoice clients, keep track of sales, track profit and expenses, and also pay employees.
QuickBooks Online has a pretty responsive and great support staff. There isn't much need for anyone to support QuickBooks Online as it's hosted and managed by QuickBooks themselves. Anyone who navigate the support panel can troubleshoot their issues.

I used QuickBooks at my previous position and it was always easy to use and very robust. It got the job done and made invoicing as easy as we needed it. I'm not an accountant, but QuickBooks makes it so we can at least get part of the job done.
I wouldn't change our evaluation process. We went with the most cost effective application for our purposes. QuickBooks does everything we need it to do and it's got a great price.
