Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online
Accounting, bookkeeping and invoicing are the major functions that we use. Their Payroll and merchant services are just overpriced, We are a smaller sized business with 11 employees that bills clients via Bank ACH, Invoice and Credit Card. We use the live bookkeeping service from QBO. We have two users with access. The "Bookkeeping Live" service is a plus but with the basic software broken it is almost pointless. I have to upload manual bank accounting transaction and credit card accounts.
For the last few months, we have run into a problem that QB's customer support and technical teams can not seem to fix. Our bank feeds only work for some of our accounts when they have been working normally for years. This is our 6th and probably the final year of using QBO. We are currently looking to get rid of the product all due to their crappy, horrible, non-responsive, and disorganized lack of support.

- Easy to get reports.
- Very fluid chart of accounts.
- Good dashboard where I can see my important financial concerns.
- Customer service is nil.
- Tech support is very difficult and time consuming to work with.
- Cases and case numbers get lost or are not entered properly meaning start all over.
- Automatic matching is very unreliable and if not closely watched your finances may be wrong.
- When working properly easy to see where the business stood financially.
- Created extra work manually uploading bank feeds.
- Nice flexible reporting (when working).
Freshbooks didn't have all the flexibility that QuickBooks had for billing, recurring invoices, etc.
