Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

We use QuickBooks to keep track of our inventory, issue invoices, and track accounts receivables. Before QuickBooks, we were tied to a 20+-year-old accounting system, which we spent too much money to begin with, that needed to be updated for another ridiculous amount of money to keep up with changing technology. For example, we had to use a remote desktop program to log in just to access the program off-site. We had to update sales taxes manually. We had to operate a "separate and exclusive server computer" on site., etc. etc. QuickBooks online program pretty much took care of all these problems and more with monthly payment plan.

  • Automatic updates and upgrades of software, regulation, etc.
  • Dependable storage of data online.
  • Easy access anywhere internet is available.

Cons

  • Lower monthly fees!
  • Do not increase monthly fees!!
  • Did I mention lower monthly fees!!!

I had very little trouble setting up the program and migrating from our old accounting system. The daily usage is also very intuitive and easy. Anytime we run into minor trouble with the program, there are always tons of help available on YouTube, so we don't even look up the online manual anymore.

We're only using limited functions available on QuickBooks, mainly invoicing and tracking customer accounts receivables. But switching from our old, outdated accounting softwares is still well worth it. Due to our limited usage, I cannot think of any scenarios or experiences where QuickBooks Online is inappropriate.
