QuickBooks Online Does It All!
Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online
We use QuickBooks Online for all our financial tracking including invoicing, expense entries and reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, and banking. QuickBooks Online allows us to keep track of all client invoices, outstanding balances, and payments, and we use this for all of our clients. We utilize coding and classing for budgeting purposes for each of our teams, and share this information regularly to help each department stay on task.
Pros
- Expense Management - QuickBooks Online allows us to link each consultants bank account to accurately track, code, and class transactions daily.
- Classing and coding options have allowed us to manage our budgets for each department and set spending goals and limits for each year.
- Deposits and payments are accurately tracked for all our clients and vendors, and reviewing this information is simple and clear.
Cons
- Some payments and/or deposits are auto uploaded incorrectly, and we have to manually go back in and update the payer and/or client.
- Our linked Chase accounts will regularly unlink and we have to go back in and reconnect our account. This happens somewhat often and can be tedious.
- Matching expenses is not always accurate, and I have to do many of them manually.
- We are able to see our outstanding client balances and keep up to date on money owed to us, enabling us to regulary touch base to collect these payments.
