Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT

Raiser's Edge NXT is being primarily used by our Advancement team and most heavily by our development officers. It addresses the business problems of access to data on the fly and ease of data entry. It provides our development officers with a user friendly tool to help them quickly identify and update potential donors.
  • It retains visual integrity across mediums and is accessible wherever an internet connection is available.
  • RE NXT provides beautiful built in analytics and reporting.
  • The NXT work center for the fundraisers puts all the information they need right at their fingertips, reducing the amount of time they have to spend on clerical tasks.
  • RE NXT is still under development and as a result is does not yet have the full functionality of the traditional Raiser's Edge platform. This means that for more complex queries and other tasks you must still access the "database view."
  • It would be great to be able to use a single password for Blackbaud.com, RE NXT, and the hosting services, rather than having to remember three.
  • The ability to print nicely formatted reports directly from NXT is lacking since the idea is that NXT enables you to go paperless. (People still want those printouts though!)

We are absolutely achieving these outcomes - the operational efficiency alone has made NXT worth the investment. The fundraisers are spending less time trying to understand the database and more time talking to donors.
Yes, we have benefited from the Blackbaud portfolio of related products. We utilize Financial Edge NXT, Raiser's Edge NBXT, Online Express, and Blackbaud NetCommunity. The integration between these systems is immensely helpful in capturing information about our constituents.

Raiser's Edge NXT is particularly well suited for organizations who have gift officers out on the road a lot or in remote locations where it is touch to streamline access through hardware & firewalls. The ease of access and use is amazing and will encourage your fundraisers to enter more accurate information after every donor visit.

Raiser's Edge NXT Support

I love the chat feature because I can access it easily and continue working on other things while I am waiting. The responses are timely and they are good at following up via email if necessary or escalating the issue. I love being able to access my ticket online to see the status or add to the case also.
