Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Rippling mainly for getting paid and managing PTOs, and it’s been such a game-changer compared to what we had before (we used systems like Gusto and PayPal). No more late payments, which used to be a headache, and it’s super easy to use. Everything just works smoothly, and it’s made things way better for everyone on the team.

When using the app, it doesn't show the Payment Tracker. I'd have to use the browser or computer to check.

Return on Investment

Rippling has been great at making sure we get paid on time every time. Compared to other systems, it’s been a huge improvement—no more worrying about delays or errors in payroll.
Filing PTOs and checking pay stubs are super easy with Rippling. The platform is straightforward and doesn’t feel like a hassle to navigate, which makes things run a lot smoother for everyone.

Alternatives Considered

Gusto and Ontop

With Gusto, payroll was consistently late, which was frustrating. Rippling, on the other hand, has been rock-solid when it comes to ensuring paychecks are always on time.

Ontop was also good, but we had to manually transfer our pay to our bank accounts, which added an extra step. Rippling simplifies this process by transferring payments directly to our accounts automatically, saving us time and effort.

Usability

It’s incredibly user-friendly and makes tasks like checking pay stubs and filing PTOs super simple. Everything just works seamlessly, and even with some minor areas for improvement, it’s still the best system I’ve used so far.

Well-Suited Scenarios:
If you rely on getting your paycheck on time to manage your finances, Rippling is a great fit. The payroll system is super reliable, and payments are always processed on time, which makes budgeting and financial planning much easier.

Less Appropriate Scenarios:
The mobile app could use some improvements—like adding the Payment Tracker. Right now, I have to switch to a browser or a computer to check payment details, which can be inconvenient when I’m on the go.
