Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

I work as a consultancy developer, I need to track my time and report any event in my case for a work 100% remote. I love the way is integrate many tools in only one comfortable and easy to use platform, the paystubs, contract management, hours accounting so on are very helpful, clear and powerful. It extremely reduces the cost in terms of time and money trying to get everything coordinated and synchronized because is good enough implemented in my employer platform. You can access to it anywhere from desktop or mobile and you can configure many bank accounts to divide your payroll as you want. Its a platform that I use frequently to confirm my work hours amount per month and the status of my contract, I can change the contract conditions and request renegotiations directly in the platform.

Pros

  • The contract management is so easy and clear, I can send new contract negotiations, also I use to use Rippling to make invoices but it and the need to update my payment information every month takes care by Rippling automatically
  • The platform is synchronized with third party software to track time so my reports are uploaded without intervention.
  • You can generate or review reports from tracking time directly, its so straightforward and the statistics can be obtained in any view that you will need.
  • All the news and request for me are notified in real time by email or popups in my phone, I don't lose anything that will need my attention in that platform.

Cons

  • Maybe many options are hidden and you need to do many clicks to find them. But anyway, all the settings are correctly arranged.
  • Sometimes are options that appears like available but actually are not enabled based on your permissions, so that will need to be more accurate to avoid misunderstandings.
  • The company has many employees more than 70, having the possibility of reducing workloads for the human resources team reduces costs substantially.
  • Employees can significantly reduce minor procedures by having the ability to make changes to their contracts immediately. The system automates these reports so that the HR team can obtain all statuses in real time.
  • The peace of mind that comes from having the system periodically report the status of a payment reduces the number of queries and potential inconveniences to the employer.
Rippling can be integrated with many tools, but also already includes many of these features so you usually don't need to contract external services to track time or get employers feedback. Anyway feel free to attach many applications that potentially expands the Rippling capabilities making more useful and convenient if needed.

The GUI is simple and easy to use, you can find any that you want based on a logical categorization, no much options are hidden or bad located so if something seems to be hard only few training will be needed. The system in general works as expected and no errors are usual.
Is great to manage human resources in big companies, but maybe can be higher that needed if you have less than 10 collaborators. This platform help you to track and measure the performance of your workers and allows to configure little settings by themselves, this feature result particularly helpful to free work charge changing things like a bank account, receive attendance reports, vacations schedules, so on.
