Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

I work as a remote staff member at the Pulitzer Center, and Rippling has been a very useful tool to keep track of the HR policies within the organization. From submitting any leave requests through it, to following up to the status of my payment, Rippling is very easy to manage and navigate.

Pros

  • Facilitate requests for leave according to organizational policy and number of days available.
  • Provide information on status of payment and pay day for global staff.
  • Connect easily to apps such as CultureAmp, to keep track of performance reviews.

Cons

  • Faster processing time for international payments (outside the US), and provide a more direct contact when having issues with this.
  • It increases the productivity of our Operations team, thanks to the automation of tasks through Rippling
  • It keeps managers and employees accountable of the performance plans and goals that are hosted in this platform
  • It provides data to managers about the behavior of employees, which allows for better management and informed decision making

I can access Rippling easily both from my computer or any mobile device, and the app works perfectly. I was recently at an emergency situation where I needed to submit a sick leave request, and only had my phone available, but was able to submit this request through the Rippling app with no problem.
Rippling is a great tool to manage HR policies within a global staff. It keeps the organization accountable with its staff and it automates processes in a very efficient matter. Payments for international staff can be handled through this tool and offer the employee status updates on payment. However, in my case it takes up to 6 days from when it is submitted to reach my bank account, and that has created the slight inconvenience of having to reschedule my personal payments. Other than that, I really appreciate that the Pulitzer Center invests in platforms such as this one to make collaboration easier.
