Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is used in a variety of ways to mange day to day operations and financial data. Project financials for both dollar profits and by hours worked has been very beneficial, are we pricing the projects correctly, are employees working efficiently vs effectively, are we sticking to the budgets set up for the project work. The multi currency module is essential for our world wide sales and to pay our independent contractors, accounting for various types currency transactions. Financials are produced in USD but money transactions are USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, Peco, Yen, CNY, INR, CHF. The consolidation module is also used consolidating 3 companies , this process is very quick and quite painless once everything is set up.
- Foreign currency accounting, converting foreign currencies into USD to consolidate.
- Budgets by projects - this really helps to keep project profitability on track
- Ease of GL use for journal entries.
- I would like additional options to pay vendors
- American Express reconciliation needs to be able to be saved if not complete.

The ease of doing journal entries and looking at GL data has made it easy to get work done and to analyze the data. AP can be tricky if American Express is used, this process is complex.
Consolidation and Fx has been very beneficial to our company, it is done quickly and correctly with no worry that something is not correct. Inter-company transactions are eliminated and consolidated. Again Project accounting has been eye opening for the company seeing project profitability and where employees are spending their time.
