Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is being used primarily by our finance and accounting professionals to record business activity, assist in controls and analyze performance data. I have in depth knowledge of the ins and outs of multiple modules. Specifically expense, accounts payable, purchasing and general ledger. The Purchasing module was our last implementation and we did require additional consulting to make that work for our company. The accuracy, ease of use and the ability to trace data between modules is user friendly and easy to navigate.

  • Logical flow from module to module - the layout is easy to follow.
  • Accessibility of customer support is top notch!
  • Community boards are well versed and a great resource.
  • In the cash management module, more than one credit card should be able to be used by a company.
  • The beta screens for new menus should be easier to use. Sometimes I feel like things are hidden where they don't belong.
  • Purchase order module should allow company administrator to have more ability to delete transactions from the history.
  • Positive impact by facilitating a faster close so business activities can be analyzed as appropriate response can be implemented in a timely fashion.
  • Awareness of cash management integration with credit card processors has improved.
  • Journal entries can be easily uploaded to save time and effort.
My experience with the accounts payable and general ledger automation processes allows us to deal with many transactions without diving into the minutiae of every transaction. The integrity of the data and processes have been proven and are reliable. This alone is a time saver! The ease of file uploads to the general ledger is also beneficial during our close process.
The system was already in place when I joined our company. However, the pitfalls of integration didn't creep up as we progressed with learning the system.
Quick books was for a smaller company I worked for in the past. The limitations and lack of GAAP solutions that were readily available for rising issues make Intacct a much better choice. Everyone plans to be successful and the successful choice is Sage Intacct for all of our financial needs and reporting options.
The purchase order and accounts payable modules work well together. I would however, like to see an easier process to edit multiple (global) changes on many line items at the same time. Editing each item is time consuming if a prompt would allow global editing that would ease frustrations.
