Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is used as the financial accounting system as well as payment processing system. The GL is fed by internally developed systems.
Pros
- Custom reporting.
- User-defined fields.
- User permissions.
Cons
- Customization of objects.
- Better API functionality.
- Pricing is counterproductive. Encourages limiting users in the system and finding external solutions.
- Allowed us to quickly scale.
- Slow resolution to API issues or desired enhancements forces creative and compensating controls that are ineffective/inefficient.
As an explosive start-up, the switch to Sage Intacct and benefit of its automation has made it possible for our company to continue growing while allowing our Accounting area growth to level out.
We have not used any of these other modules. As a start-up tech company we often develop our own solutions to these.
