Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We currently use Sage Intacct solely by our Accounting department. It serves as our "hub" for all of our AR, AP, cash management, GL and reporting needs. Other departments are able to rely on our team's extraction of data in Sage Intacct to drive business decisions and compare our actuals to budgets/forecasts.

  • Sophistication and robustness in its Contract Module.
  • More functionality surrounding consolidations and running multiple groupings of different consolidations.
  • Ability to report quickly.
  • Automation of many daily processes.
  • Automation of intercompany transactions.
It has cut down on the amount of time spent manually inputting data into the system. By automating many transactions and processes, it has empowered our users to spend more time analyzing data and really driving processes.
We currently use the multi-entity and global consolidations modules. The possibility of moving from one set of entity's books to another is seamless and can be navigated with ease. A consistent view of each entity makes it easy to navigate within each entity. The Global Consolidations module significantly cuts down the amount of time we would have spent trying to consolidate our results manually in Excel. This truly provides us with more time to be able to take a step back and take a holistic view of our results, rather than spending time on "task performance."
Sage Intacct is quite intuitive and easy to follow as far as set-up goes. The team at Sage Intacct is helpful and very responsive to inquiries, questions, and troubleshooting when needed.

I have been a user of Sage Intacct at the past 3 companies I have worked for. Sage Intacct works great for mid-size companies. It has the ability to really be customized and suited to the company.
For companies that rely heavily on Intacct from a reporting aspect, I would say there is still room for improvement in this area.
