Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct ("SI") is our accounting platform. In addition to being a standalone accounting system, it integrates with our CRM, Salesforce, to record donation and membership information at the g/l account, program, and department level. We also utilize the budgeting module to prepare and monitor our annual actual vs. budget performance.
- Custom reporting
- Accounts payable processing
- journal entry import
- ACH payments
- Easier integration with Salesforce
- Inability to export formulas to Excel
- Greater efficiency
- Reduced man hours in accounting
- Better, cleaner account structure
The enhanced ability to build and customize financial reports in order to export to Excel in a format that does not require the same level of data manipulation once in Excel is invaluable. This feature has probably eliminated 20% of man-hours required to close the books each month.
I have not used these capabilities.

I did not select the product; I inherited it. That said, I find Sage Intacct's interface much more intuitive than other products I've used.
