Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct as the primary accounting platform in the business, covering general ledger, accounts payable, payments and cash reconciliations, sales taxes, and financial reports.

It's very impressive as a comprehensive accounting platform that remains surprisingly intuitive and easy to use. For my firm, it elegantly solved the problem of having too many manual processes and reconciliations.

We have not automated these functions
Intacct's multi-entity functionality is extremely intuitive and easy to use, and has made intercompany accounting significantly simpler.
We worked with an implementation partner, who knew the system very well and were able to get our system to exactly where we wanted it. In general use, Intacct's options and administration are significantly simpler than other systems I've used.
Intacct is significantly more user-friendly than Netsuite or SAP. It is much more manageable for small and mid-sized finance teams to operate themselves without getting into trouble or needing systems expertise to do things.

Sage Intacct is extremely well suited to mid-sized firms who have outgrown Xero and other basic accounting packages, and want something more powerful that can still be managed by finance teams without significant systems expertise.

It may be less well suited to firms who want to do significant custom development work and integration with external systems.
