Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
In my organization, we use Sage Intacct as an accounting software. This helps us in Accounts payable, Accounts receivable & General ledger domains. This has a sync with Bill.com that allows us to transfer the data from Bill.com to Sage Intacct & vice versa. The tracking of all the data is very good & for vendor master it allows us to create custom reports & custom fields. That ultimately solves some of the issues we identify.
Pros
- Accounting Tracking
- Allows creation of Custom fields in master data base
- Sync with Bill.com
- Posting Journal entries & audit trial of master records
- Various training modules within Intacct that helps users to understand application
Cons
- Inventory management functionality needs to be improved
- 1099 reporting should be improved
- Some reports can be presented in graphical charts
- It has helped us in financial reporting
- We could do some automations
- Integration with Bill.com & Ramp, etc.
Yes, we use Sage Intacct for enabling automation. Especially, for 1099 reporting, we have used the reports & completed one automation project. I have also heard that our GL department also used Sage Intacct to automate some of the processes which helped in the financial close before the deadlines. That's the reason our company is using this software since inception.
We have many clients in my span of reporting which we use multi-entitiy. This is an excellent feature because using the same company/client ID, we login to Sage Intacct and access multiple entities within the main client ID. This is a helpful feature to report financials separately at entity level as well as consolidated level.
BlackLine can't support on financial activities like Sage Intacct does.
Quickbooks doesn't provide the features like multi-entity & doesn't have many features which Sage Intacct has
NetSuite: Complex to implement & higher price model
Considering the above points, the management has decided to stick with Sage Intacct than other applications for accounting functions.
