Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct as our ERP. We use the general ledger, purchasing, accounts payable, and fixed assets module. We needed to get better control over the purchasing process, so it allowed us to implement Purchase Requisitions-to-Purchase Order workflows, which has brought better visibility into spending and brought better controls as well. We also automated Accounts Payable with Bill.com, and the integration with Sage Intacct is deep and mature, so it helped streamline our payables processes significantly.

  • Reporting is a bit complicated
  • Native Fixed assets requires a 3rd party for depreciation
  • A bit expensive for 10 pack of users
  • Hard to quantify
  • Quicker decisions because of better reporting
  • Better morale across the organization
I am not sure what you mean by automation
We don't use those more advanced modules
We used a reseller to help with the implementation, and they did an excellent job. It was a very painless implementation.

Sage Intacct is well suited for a mid-size and/or growing organization that is looking for a best-in-class ERP that is designed with the accountant in mind. I have used other systems that were clearly designed by engineers, but they didn't invoice the accountant in the room. They are an excellent hub if you and looking to use other 3rd party software because of their open APIs. The best software companies always look to integrate with Sage Intacct
