Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct to manage our finances and track budgets for our community and social work programs. It helps us keep records organized, manage contract and funding, and create clear financial reports. This makes it easier to stay accountable, follow rules, and focus more on supporting the community instead of paperwork.

Sage Intacct’s automation has helped our organization by reducing manual data entry and errors in core financial tasks like general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Processes are faster and more accurate, which saves staff time and improves financial control. This allows our team to focus more on program delivery and meeting organizational goals.
We mainly use Accounts Payable (AP) in Sage Intacct and are planning to use Project Accounting in the future. AP has improved invoice processing, approvals, and payments by reducing manual work and errors. It helps us track expenses by program and funding source. We expect Project Accounting will further support better tracking and reporting once implemented.
We worked with the vendor to configure Sage Intacct. Their support was helpful, especially during setup and training. The system has many options, so vendor guidance made the process smoother. Sage Intacct resources and support helped us understand the system and set it up in a way that fits our organization’s needs.
We chose Sage Intacct over Sage 50 because Sage Intacct offers stronger reporting, better automation, and more advanced financial tools. Unlike Sage 50, Intacct can track expenses by program, location, and funding source, which is important for our organization. The improved visibility, accuracy, and ability to create clearer financial reports made Sage Intacct a better fit for our needs.

Sage Intacct is well suited for organizations that need detailed reporting by program, location, and contract using dimensions. It works well for tracking funding, expenses, and budgets across multiple sites. It is less appropriate for very small organizations that only need basic accounting, as the system can feel complex and more than they require.
