Overall Satisfaction with SAP Commerce Cloud
We have migrated our online shops from other technology to SAP Commerce Cloud and the experience has been satisfactory. With the help of tools like Backoffice, smart edit, business teams are able to handle daily operations with ease. We have built few eCommerce portals already using the SAP Commerce Cloud and the results are satisfactory so far and looking forward for more improvements and features to be included from SAP Commerce Cloud.
Pros
- Out-of-the-box features available for many business features
- Accelerators helped to onboard shops with ease
- Easy to use backend tools helps the business teams
Cons
- Many business features should have been there earlier, however getting added very recently like Quotes, scheduled ordering etc.,
- Payment frameworks should have been already integrated but we are waiting for the OPF to be available.
- Few of the AI features should have been part of the license instead of having them as a separate package or AI KIT
- Headless-Backend and Frontend should be decoupled for ease of deployment and independent implementation.
- Overall, it has been a really good experience with SAP Commerce Cloud and we have successfully onboarded multiple shops already.
Overall SAP Ecosystem compatibility, integrated product roadmap, frequent releases, OOB B2B features, built on latest technologies, providing a monitoring solution, Order management capabilities, business tools, number of companies that are already onboarded, platform is extendible and can be integrated with many third-party systems, ERPs and other solutions and leaders from Gartner and Forrestor
