Overall Satisfaction with SAP Concur

We have been using SAP Concur organisation-wide since 2020, and it has been running very smoothly. This product is used for travel and expense management on a day-to-day basis. SAP Concur has automated the process from travel bill to convert all details into expense form, which is a very useful feature. User doesn't need to fill in the details from the form. It is very easy to integrate with other ERPs like SAP. It has an inbuilt Map, which helps to calculate the total travel distance when raising the expense form.

Pros

  • Fill the details from uploaded Bills, Users don't need to fill manually
  • MAP calculates automatically the distance
  • Re-submit option if any bills has missed
  • Easy to integrate with any SSO or MFA

Cons

  • Itemization of Bills are very granular and some fields should not mandatory
  • Sometime performance lag
  • Follow-up reminder mail should trigger
  • Reduced the time of getting reimbursement
  • No more follow-ups from Accounts team
  • All the records has audit trail
We are using Cloud cloud-based system. It is easy to operate and requires less management and minimal downtime so far.
SAP S/4HANA has integrated with SAP Concur. It is running very smoothly. The process of Payment is done through the integration of SAP Concur and SAP HANA. It has removed the manual process of checking the bills and then processing payment from other systems, which was consuming the time of Finance personnel, and also, there was a possibility of human error.

It is well-suited for employees as they do not put any extra effort into logging in and submitting the bills. It is integrated with our SSO, where they can log in directly and upload the bills, which will be processed with all the details of the bills automatically. Once the bills get approved, then the Finance team will get the notification with all the granular details, and once the Finance team approve, it is send the payment notification automatically in the Integrated SAP ERP. So in that process from submitting to getting reimbursement, Time has been reduced.
