New to ScienceLogic SL1 but here are my takeaways so far

Overall Satisfaction with ScienceLogic SL1

it was smooth to get online and start pulling equipment in
To monitor the status of networking equipment. Allows us to monitor every aspect of the equipment, from bandwidth usage and status to hardware status, incl. fans, PS, and memory.
Both

Pros

  • snmp status
  • wan link up and down status
  • cpu usage and storage capacity

Cons

  • snmp status. doesn't always update when equipment is changed
  • discovery of certain equipment. ie. Brocade and HP
  • alarm suppression for certain groups instead of across the board

  • seeing problems before they happen
  • automated workflow
ScienceLogic SL1 is not as laggy and updates alot faster
UKG Workforce Central (discontinued), VMware SD-WAN, Google Meet
In my opinion, very well suited for servers. needs some work when dealing with routers and switches
