Overall Satisfaction with ScreenConnect

We currently use ScreenConnect in our IT department to support our clients and find it to be very fast and efficient compared to previous remote solutions that we have tried. We have a mix of Mac and Windows based computers within our company and ScreenConnects works well on both platforms. The feature we found to be most useful is the ability to create MSI packages which makes deployments very easy within our network.
  • MSI packages creation ability (Windows Environment) - Makes deploying the program on a large network easy and saves a lot of time.
  • Enhanced Security - ScreenConnect allowed us to control almost every aspect of session security such as audit logging and screen recording.
  • The controls for meetings and remote support are all on one panel which makes it a lot easier for our technicians to navigate around.
  • The remote session can be troublesome to initiate sometimes especially with more technically challenged clients. A Log-Me-In rescue type of console would be more effective.
  • When transferring files a transfer display does not always appear and we find that we are sending multiple copies of the same file.
  • Software Cost - We have saved a moderate amount of money on transferring over to ScreenConnect from LogMeIn. ScreenConnect performs just as well as LogMeIn.
  • As with the majority of remote software having our technicians in the office allows us to support more sessions when required and definitely makes our department more efficient.
ScreenConnect matches and exceeds LogMeIn in some areas such as security - that is an important feature to our company. The price of ScreenConnect was a great appeal to us as LogMeIn is a very expensive piece of software.
In our company ScreenConnect's primary function is to support clients and for team collaboration and the only situation that it less appropriate is when there is a hardware failure that requires a technician be on site.
