Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am a Technical Recruiter for a large government contractor, I actively recruit for a variety of technical positions and SeekOut is one of the top sourcing avenues that I utilize to find qualified candidates. I particularly like that I am able to create project folders for the different positions that I am sourcing on and add sourced candidates to these folders. This helps me keep my candidate lists organized. I also like the "Jump Back In" feature, where my previous searches are saved so that I can revisit the searches if I get pulled away from the search for any reason. One thing that I have found that can be challenging when utilizing SeekOut is that many candidates do not have the most up-to-date information on their profiles. Some phone numbers or emails are out of date, making it a bit difficult to contact a candidate quickly upon finding them in a search.

Thus far the SeekOut support has been great! The SeekOut team members are easily accessible and the training sessions that they provided to the team upon our gaining access were very informative. The SeekOut support team does a good job of reaching out to us to ensure we are happy with the product and to offer any assistance as necessary.

SeekOut is a strong sourcing tool, alongside Linkedin Recruiter, DICE, Clearancejobs, Monster, Hired, Indeed, etc. SeekOut does pull candidates from LinkedIn, and if their contact information is not up to date on SeekOut, I am able to find them via Linkedin Recruiter to reach out. I utilize SeekOut alongside these listed tools to source qualified candidates.

As a Technical Recruiter, I have utilized SeekOut to source for many different IT candidates. Some searches have been more fruitful than others. SeekOut's Boolean search is helpful, and I am able to narrow down candidates to a smaller pool to choose from. I do wish that SeekOut had a filter that provided searchers with the ability to filter via citizenship status. I do have some positions that I recruit for that only allow for US Citizenship, so this feature would be beneficial to filter only qualified candidates in this case.
