Overall Satisfaction with SeekOut

I am working on Renewable energy field as a recruiter. We are looking for people in many different position. Mechanical, Electrical Engineer, sales, Project Manager. We are using SeekOut, when we do not have suitable applicants for a position, it searches on LinkedIn for suitable potential candidates, using boolean, adding location and years of experience. Example we were looking for a mechanical engineer who has experience with engineering, modifying lifting and handling equipments, as the people who applied did not have.
  • Search on LinkedIn
  • Advise Industries
  • Advise Filters
  • Searching for a similar candidate, that I found
  • Put the level of knowledge of a language that the person speaks
  • If I click on the next series of applicants show the list from the top, not from the bottom
  • Let modify saved searchings, by saving the changes
  • We could have a recruiter searching tool on a much lower price then Linkedin Recruiter.
  • I can search for potential candidates where we missed suitable candidates.
  • SeekOut uses AI as well for search that is an extra compared to LinkedIn.
Luckily I did not need to use SeekOut support, everything worked fine and was understandable on SeekOut.
Seek out helps reduce recruiting costs, beside that it collects contact date from other platforms. You can also use AI to find people and look for similar profiles with the "clone" candidate, that we would like to do in real life.:)

Do you think SeekOut delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with SeekOut's feature set?

No

Did SeekOut live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of SeekOut go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy SeekOut again?

Yes

It is really amazing, that it can search on LinkedIn, but that you cannot set, the level of a language knowledge. Example I was looking for a French speaking engineer, and SeekOut brings out the ones who speaks on limited level, or beginner. I could not filter for people who speaks advanced level in French. So I have to double check all the candidates. And I think LinkedIn is more likely able to find the searching words even if it is written in the profile on an other language then English.

Using SeekOut

Sourcing, recruiting.
1 - Know the tool very well, and know who to contact if something does not work.
Be patient with customer, having new ideas to solve an issue.
  • Finding potential canidates for a role
  • Have an overview of the market
  • Cost saving
  • The contact details could help but in Europe very few people have it.
  • Also people who did not have Linkedin Recruiter before were able to get Seekout
  • Using Ai for search
  • The cloning option
Because it works well and good for search, but does not find words if they are in an other langauge in the profile and you cannot set the level of langauge knowledge.

Evaluating SeekOut and Competitors

Yes - Linkedin Recruiter, because it is very expensive.

SeekOut Training

We had an online tarining with all the recruiters. The trainer was very good, and enthusiast as well. He explained everything very detailed, showed how to search which kind of functions are in Seekout. He showed the program by using examples of search. We could ask questions at the end, and he told that we can contact him any time.

Using SeekOut

Maybe in the beginning it takes time to learn to use Seekout, but after you discovered it is easy to use, and it even offers possibilites of filter that you would not even thought about.
