Overall Satisfaction with Shopify
We use Shopify as our hosting for our website and e-commerce. It serves as the backbone of our entire online presence. From our site, to our store, to our blog, Shopify has been amazing, intuitive to use, and very fast. There are also a ton of apps on the backend that we can use to help enhance our offering or the user experience.
- Shopify has a remarkable app store that allows users to plug and play with 1000s of different apps and customizations to their store.
- Shopify has done a great job building an all-in-one tool that allows companies to host their domain, edit a beautifully designed store, and run their ecommerce all in one.
- Shopify continues to put out quality content and new improvements that make our lives as merchants easier.
- I wish there was a drag and drop editor that allowed for easier customization of the webpages.
- The live chat feature built into shopify isnt as good as the competitors in the space, but thats not the end of the world. Same with their email marketing or shipping. It's acceptable.
- The page speeds are a little slower than if you built a site yourself. The apps really add to the loading time. I dont think it's slow, but google does apparently.
- Increased efficiency with shipping and order processing.
- Better analytics and understanding of our customers and their activity on our store.
- We upgraded from Wix, so it was night and day from how much more professional the store looks today.
They have more analytics, better designs, more apps to create a more robust system to run a business on. Their system is very intuitive, and they are heavily investing in constantly making their platform better. The biggest selling point years ago was the ability to track with google analytics. Wix didn't have that simple feature years ago...
