Overall Satisfaction with Skype
My company uses Skype for meetings with general contractors. These meetings are typically done face-to-face, but occasionally the GC finds it more convenient to meet via video conference. Skype has helped make communication with GCs easier since we no longer have to worry about going to them/them coming to us, which is nice considering most GCs are located in different cities than us.

- Customer Outreach
- Customer service
- Evolving
- Usernames
- More efficiency in the field because our workers can visualize what we are trying to say.
- More jobs won because we can meet with out-of-town general contractors.
- Less gas used driving to meetings.
- Zoom
Zoom is my preference for professional meetings, while Skype is nice for communication within my organization. I find Zoom to be more professional due to its aesthetic. Skype has tremendous marketing and customer outreach that has carried its name for a while, but they are starting to trail to companies like Zoom due to lack of evolvement.
