Overall Satisfaction with Skype for Business

My organization uses Skype for Business for all of our internal communication needs. We use it for conferences, for quick video meetings between two people, and also for large all-hands meetings and presentations. It helps us be more connected as a team even though we are spread out across several locations.
  • Makes communication between individuals very easy (calls and chat)
  • Great to have chat, file transfers, and calls integrated into one program
  • Great for individual calls and also calls with dozens of people
  • Very reliable and easy to use
  • Wish it was possible to also make calls to regular land lines and cell phones
  • You need an internet connection to use it
  • Has made us more efficient so we are able to get more done in less time
  • Has decreased problems within the team from lack of face-to-face communication
  • Has reduced mistakes made by the team because it has been easier to communicate effectively
Skype for Business is the best option from the two because it has a chat function, a video conference function, a call function, file transferring function, recording function, and event function. So we are able to address all our communication needs with one program instead of having to use multiple programs for different kinds of tasks.
I would highly recommend Skype for Business to a colleague because of how much easier it has made collaboration and communication for our virtual teams. Some of the team members have never met in person, but being able to easily have video meetings and conferences has improved our team cohesion and also productivity.
