Overall Satisfaction with Skype for Business

We use Skype For Business as our internal "IM" function and have recently begun to use it for video conferences and large group meetings. Just an hour ago, I used it to conduct role plays with sellers in a remote office.
  • IM ... it's fantastic for that ... easy to use.
  • Integrated with company contacts so I don't have to open Outlook to find contacts, etc.., a simple search provides contact.
  • Easy to share/present ... vs. creating a webinar room and all of that, you can collaborate instantly with others in your company.
  • Audio quality is often challenging.
  • Sharing screen/presenting does not have the same bells and whistles as an Adobe or PGI or WebEx or Join.me ... I can't break into rooms, I can't do more robust functions.
  • I would like my personal Skype ID integrated so that I don't have to have 2 Skypes.
  • ROI -- I believe it's allowed us to eliminate expenses like Adobe/PGI in many cases.
Skype is a slicker/easier collaboration tool but doesn't seem to be able to hold up in large, large group meetings. I continue to use PGI for those larger meetings simply because it is more reliable and the audio seems better.
Great for impromptu sharing of one's screen.
Great for small groups of 3-4 folks.
