Overall Satisfaction with Slack

Slack is being used be the entire organization. Our company has employees placed around the globe and they use slack for all communications. In addition, our tech department uses it for alerts. We have slack connected to our automation, deploy, and development process.
  • Connect via API to other products.
  • History and search options.
  • Adding of gifs and screenshots.
  • Video chat becomes choppy when there are over 3 people.
  • Being an employee and contractor, switching between accounts could be easier.
  • New users find it difficult to start conversations.
  • Our business day to day operations would come to a halt without slack.
  • Having employees across the globe has had no impact on our operations teams and departments are integrated.
  • Entire software release process is dependent on Slack.
Slack was the product in place when I joined the company but after using it I can't believe I used anything else.
Retention of conversations and use of API calls are tremendous.
