Overall Satisfaction with Slack
Slack has helped my department immensely by simplifying our team communication and our data collaboration. First of all, Slack's clean and straightforward interface makes it easy to learn how to navigate through the software. Also, the fact that Slack allows the user to create different channels for different topics is by far one of the most useful features it has because it allows the user to have specific conversations about topics, creating a better work environment.
- Slack has a great variety of tools and features that help the user have a better experience with the software.
- It allows the user immense freedom to customize almost everything he wants to.
- Slack has a great search feature that really makes a difference when you need to find a specific conversation or media file.
- Slack's many integrations with other software such as Zendesk, Google Drive and Dropbox are extremely useful.
- It is more expenive than most other messaging platforms out there.
- Slack's video/gif quality could be better.
- The mobile version of slack on some devices such as the Windows Phone is unstable, slow and crashes from time to time.
- Slack has increased our team efficiency tremedously and made it so much easier for our team to share and develop ideas that can become profitable in the future.
- I find that sometimes our team members get distracted with emojis and other features like that, and all of this distraction hinders our overall production.
- Slack has created a much more organized work environment for us.
I find that even though Slack is more expensive, it is way more simple, organized and straightforward than HipChat. Also, Slack has a much better performance on most mobile devices. Togther with that, HipChat has way less interations with other softwares than Slack, and these integrations are essentail on todays business world.
