Overall Satisfaction with Slack
Every team at my agency uses slack to quickly contact other team members about their ongoing projects. It helps the team keep in constant communication. We can now reach someone quickly instead of having to wait for them to check their emails or come back to their desks.
- Utilizes group chats very effectively. Allows an entire team to be in on a conversation at once.
- Great Android support. The app works great on my Samsung phone. I can easily check notifications if I'm away from my computer.
- I would like to be able to manually set hours I am in the office so I appear offline when the work day is complete.
- Slack has had a very positive impact. It has upped response time tremendously.
- Negative impact may be the ability to send funny gifs to your coworkers. This can become distracting.

Slack kicks Gchat out of the water. It has many more features and seems to be built for business.
