Overall Satisfaction with Slack

With Slack, our company has a place to communicate and easily share ideas. We can post and ask opinions about new projects, and brainstorm with other folks. It's a good channel for a company to post about upcoming events. It is also a place to unplug, share with your teammates, and have a little fun.

Pros

  • How easy is it to use.
  • The Design is intuitive.
  • Sharing information has never been easier.

Cons

  • The app for Windows can be better.
  • Uploading for a post sometimes fails.
  • The treads page sometimes is confusing.
  • Slack has reduced email traffic. Instead of spending hours on email replies. we can resolve issues in real-time using Slack.
  • Staying connected allows you to stay motivated.
  • The constant notification can be overwhelming.
Slack is highly user-friendly, boosts team communication, and has a strong integration with other websites, with a powerful search tool, making it easy to find what you are looking for. Contacting a user directly and having a personal chat is great. You can manage channels and groups. Basically, you need a lot of imagination to use Salck to set up a large organization.
I didn't select Slack; I prefer Slack in my organization. It's a more powerful website, with strong integration with the rest. It's a better communication channel for most of us. Additionally, for a large organization, you can set up groups and channels. More tools make it more attractive and motivate you to stay connected.

Do you think Slack delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Slack's feature set?

Yes

Did Slack live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Slack go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Slack again?

Yes

Slack is excellent for quick questions and getting in touch with a coworker about something. We can create groups for each department, allowing them to share information and access relevant resources. Slack is not ideal for official announcements, policy changes, or legal notices that require record-keeping and formal acknowledgment.
