Overall Satisfaction with Smartlook

Smartlook is extremely helpful by letting us know what clients are doing on specific pages of our application, not just how they move between them. This can help us ascertain how they are completing tasks, how long it takes them to understand the interface, and how long it takes them to find what they are looking for.
  • Session recording of the users' mouse actions.
  • Event logging of what the user clicked and where.
  • Heatmap generation to see the most frequently used areas of a page.
  • URL routing is great for single domains but struggles across applications with multiple subdomains or custom URL based routing.
  • Helps simplify the interface by analyzing where user error is happening on a page.
  • Optimizes the experience to help users find what they need on a page faster.
The support was helpful, although the speed could be improved. Overall, a solution couldn't be found due to a limitation of the portal.
The interface is well designed and easy to use. They are constantly adding in new features to expand the usability of the platform.
The heatmaps are very similar to what can be used in Hotjar. However, with the addition of a large suite of features for a similar cost, you are getting a significantly large bundle of tools that can be extremely valuable in gaining insights to help solve complex design and development issues.
