Overall Satisfaction with Smartsheet
Smartsheet is being used as a project management and collaboration tool in our IT department. In addition to project management activities, we are also using it for procurement management, budgeting, keeping a track of employee training records, etc. We also maintain contact information, including emergency contact information for all our employees.
- Tracking project tasks.
- Collaboration with different teams/departments working on the same project.
- Simplifying some of the views.
- Better reporting features.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and all requirements are addressed. No tasks are missed.
- Resource utilization, over utilized/under utilized.
- Clarity PPM (formerly CA Project Portfolio Management)
Smartsheet is simpler to use and setup and we did not have professional services for implementing this product. We did have a few meetings with product management, however that was part of the implementation. That being said, if you would like to automate some tasks, create workflows, customizations, formulas, etc. you will need professional services.
