Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor

SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor is being used for the end to end monitoring of our network connections across our remote locations.

Pros

  • Monitoring Cisco devices
  • Monitoring Mikrotik
  • Monitoring SonicWall

Cons

  • The availability reporting should be improved. There should be a web custom view where users can set a date and time (period) of availability to be spooled for a particular node or group members, and interfaces.
  • The SQL database grows so fast too soon. SolarWinds should find away of compressing the database as the file grows.
  • Better customer service.
  • Increased support staff efficiency.
