Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor

I use it to monitor performance, scalability, errors, and other metrics in my application. Whatever the load on the server, issues and errors, server outages, and future problems will be diagnosed on this platform, and appropriate steps can be taken to resolve them and prevent them from recurring.

Pros

  • Monitoring overall performance of server nodes.
  • Monitoring errors and API call failures.
  • User friendly UI for easy monitoring.

Cons

  • Readability of logs could be better.
  • Costing - expensive.
  • Logs filters could be better.
  • It has helped monitor nodes, predict outages, and save the company from losing money.
  • Information about errors and problems that come in the way so they can be solved and avoided in the future, saving the company a huge amount of funds.
  • Helped in figuring out which services could be divided into microservices, leading to more throughput for the company.
It is a good tool for monitoring traffic, errors, throughput, and overall performance across different server nodes or microservices in company deployments. The user interface is quite user-friendly. It can, however, improve the readability of the logs and filters interface used to filter logs.
It provides accurate information on outages and traffic predictions, saving the company a lot of money. It provides clear visibility into performance issues, and one can easily identify solutions from it. It has a very good UI interface compared to the other technologies mentioned. The error filters are something that could be improved; they are better in the other technologies mentioned.

It is a well-suited software for monitoring and surveillance of your deployed nodes. The error-readability and filter options for filtering out logs and errors could be improved. But overall, it has a good UI design, is user-friendly, and is very easy to learn and access for new users.
