Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We are using it to allow technical support to help other users within all the company located in the same but wide facility. It also allows us to install software on remote computers. This is a very huge time saver because we don't have to move from the IT desk to all other desks within the company.
- File exchange
- Remote access
- Computer management in different groups
- Some time, lost of connection but perhaps it's due to the connection itself...
- Time saver
It is working with HTTPS, so it's secured. Two-factor authentification is very secure with the second authentication on the mobile application. Very easy to use, it is not restrictive compared to other sites that send a code by SMS that you have to enter on the website to be able to connect, for example.
It was very fast. We have just installed Remote Business on technician computers and Remote support on others. The longest thing was to configure the deployment installation because we are working behind a proxy. The interface is very intuitive and allows you to use it fully and quickly. The possibility of connecting to several screens of the PC remotely is great. You can even have as many windows as the remote PC has screens. It is a huge time saver to navigate from one screen to another.
Yes - Splashtop replaced our LogMeIn subscription that we had been using for several years. Indeed, three years ago, LogMeIn's business strategy changed radically, and so did the prices. The system no longer fit our way of working, and the cost became exorbitant. So I looked for a tool with equivalent or even better features and found Splashtop. After a few tests of its functioning, I was largely convinced. It even exceeds my expectations.
