Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We use it to do home office by the remote desktop.
- It is fast
- Excellent support
- It is cheaper than other software with same functions
- When working with 2 screens, to move a window from a screen to the other you have to drop it and then maximize it at 2 steps.
- The upper tool bar can be minimized but not moved. Sometimes that bothers
- The clipboard do not allow to copy images to remote computer, only text
- It gives flexibility by the remote desktop
- We can get support by our IT at any moment
I am not a security expert. I had no security issues to report.
It is fast. The setup is a little more complicated than other softwares but it is not difficult. You only have to spend half an hour the first time and then it works well.
Yes - Google desktop was replaced because it is tremendously slow. Impossible to work a full day, it is good for mobile but not for desktop. Anydesk was also replaced because it is more expensive.
