Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop

Throughout our organization, we use Splashtop to conveniently access our customers' PCs and servers remotely, via our PCs and smartphones, to solve their problems and support users in the normal use of their work. We also use Splashtop as a system to transfer large files, updates and chat with PC users who have problems during their work. We find Splashtop very friendly, fast and easy to use, constantly updated with bug fixes and new features. We find Splashtop cheap, we have been promised an annual price and it has never been raised- it is cheaper than all other solutions of this type. The support is fast, and stable and allows both access with SOS for manned workstations and with an installer for 25 unattended workstations between PC and server. It allows remote reboot and the setting of email alerts for offline PCs or any problems.

When I had to contact assistance on three occasions, the procedure was very, very easy and immediate, directly from the software, with the possibility of sending operating logs. Very quick response (considering the important time zone difference) and always precise and exhaustive. Excellent support, in English of course, with guides and screenshots where needed. They listen to user requests and insert newly requested features, in some cases.
I think Splashtop uses secure and state-of-the-art protocols primarily for accessing the administration panel. Each new access from new unknown stations or with new accounts is communicated via email, with a link inside to click to authorize access. The connection to client PCs also takes place in secure mode, with single-use SOS codes and the possibility of authentication with user and password. Access to unattended workstations with user and password or additional security code
Very fast, few minutes. Splashtop subscription made in a few minutes, automatic renewal, profile and system activation practically at no time, all accurate and punctual. Support is also very fast and responsive. The first access requires an email verification, which arrives immediately, everything takes not even one minute. Acceptable connection times to individual PCs, except in case of poor network connection.
Yes - LogMeIn was replaced for performance and costs. Splashtop has replaced the LogMeIn support system, a comparable solution in terms of functionality and the possibility of manned and unattended remote access. LogMeIn was constantly increasing in price, even very important, from year to year. The initial reason for the change was therefore the annual cost.

Every business should love Splashtop. Well suited: support areas, employees support, technicians, server admins, smart working. Works great with all servers editions, useful to find and solve all types of problems. Less appropriate: translates to optimize. Remote support to iOS and Android is not possible with all licenses, I think it’s always more necessary today.

I believe that I will renew Splashtop without any problems in the coming years as eating stable costs without increases even in critical periods such as the Covid virus, Splashtop allows access to 25 unattended stations and has continuous updates and new features. It also allows resale to users with sub-accounts

Our main reason why we initially chose Splashtop support remote was cheap, the cost of our previous LogMeIn remote support license had gone up a lot and kept going up year on year despite the features still being the same. At a few hundred dollars we have everything we need and more than the old LogMeIn product
If I had to do it again, I don't know if and how I could change our evaluation and selection process. I believe the requirements would always be the same, that is the cost, the maintenance of the subscription cost over the years, the functionality, and the pre and post-sales support.
