Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop

We use Splashtop to access our computers in the office from our home office computers. This was an essential tool, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, to allow workers the ability to work from home and access all the files and programs needed. It also allows the IT department (me) to access and troubleshoot co-workers' machines. I also use it when setting up new computers; by installing Splashtop on them early in the process, I am able to stay at my workstation to continue the setup without haveing to continually hop back to a different location in the office.
  • It's really easy to set up on new machines
  • It allows coworkers to work from home as if they were in the office
  • It is a safe and secure way to access remote computers
  • Files can be easily transferred from one machine to another
  • I wish there was a way to access audio from a remote device
  • I would like to be able to access mobile phones to troubleshoot coworkers' issues (I think this is a different product)
  • For less than $300/year I can access 25 computers remotely
  • Splashtop has saved me time (which translates to money) by allowing me to instantly solve a coworker's problem without the need to travel to their location or wait for them to come to me.
I have actually never had an issue that I needed to contact some at Splashtop
I feel very safe using Splashtop. The device verification at set-up seems very robust.
I was able to get up and running with Splashtop very quickly and easily.

Would you buy Splashtop again?

Yes

Splashtop is perfect for our small office of about 15 users. It really helps me troubleshoot problems remotely. We have employees spread across the sate and even one who resides out of state. Instead of trying to explain complicated procedures over the phone, I can simply remote in to a coworker's computer and show them how to solve their issue
