Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop

Splashtop remote access is being used across the whole organization for remove desktop access by users as well as for support by support personnel. This allows user to access their systems remotely when needed as well as allows support personnel to assist users.
  • Multiple Monitors
  • File transfer
  • Remote Desktop control
  • Ability to remotely restart system if needed.
  • Web Access should be available to all Splashtop Versions so support personnel do not need to have their laptop with them or Executable on USB Drive etc..
  • Remote access and scaling of screens sometimes is very difficult and have to resort to using keyboard commands to Navigate a screen because the mouse does not show where it is accurately on the remote screen no matter what changes you make on the client although I think this has been improving.
  • Intermittent loss of streamer access and showing that a system is online in the Dashboard has been flakey lately. What I mean by this is systems show offline then they come back online their own then offline again - intermittent
  • Saves time and money for support people and customers not having to travel to users for support.
  • Has added remote access capabilities to user populations' of all sizes
  • We were able to offer remote access to hundreds of users instantly without added expense when the Pandemic to keep their businesses going with current support solution that was already in place.
When we have needed support we have always been able to get a real person in a timely manner. This is critical to business success !!
The Splashtop product meets security requirements quite well and the Administration makes it very easy to add/subtract user very quickly and securely. Connection encryption is required these days and Splashtop meets the need !!
It took us about a week to convert hundreds of users from the former product we were using. It was very easy to deploy once we got going with the rollout.

This was the perfect Solution (and was already in place) when the Pandemic hit and remote access was needed quickly and could be controlled on a user by user basis.
We were already using the product for support and simply needed to add users as needed. It is great for remote access for users as well as support people. It is always great feeling when you tell a customer when they have a need to work remotely on their systems that the solution is already in place.
