Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
I use Splashtop to help clients solve problems, learn new skills, and manage their computer systems. Splashtop Business Support allows me to serve more people more quickly than going to their offices in person.
- Splashtop lets me see what my clients see.
- Splashtop usually works even when my client's computer isn't in great shape. I can sometimes do things remotely that an onsite user cannot.
- Splashtop lets me work on many computers from one location, without leaving my own desk.
- Splashtop allows me to serve clients who are hundreds and even thousands of miles away. I can do work for people I've never met.
- My clients can usually install Splashtop by themselves, preventing the need for a costly and time consuming site visit.
- Splashtop lets me create installation links for remote access that have been configured specifically to my particular needs and the needs of my clients.
- When a remote system goes offline it takes a minute or more for the status to show in the application's list of computers.
- The configuration options for the remote access are numerous and sometimes hard to understand. Sometimes it's hard to find an option.
- Using Splashtop has made it possible for me to manage around 25% more individuals by increasing response time and reducing travel time.
- Splashtop lets me respond to most service requests the same day instead of the following day. More than half of all requests for help can be addressed immediately instead of scheduling an appointment.
- Customers are happier to have a remote service call than an in-person visit.
- Splashtop remote access allows me to increase my daily billable hour and reduce unproductive time at work.
The Splashtop remote access options that I have are virtually perfect for me. I feel very confident in assuring my clients that the connections are secure and that the software is both secure and won't slow down their systems. Splashtop really seems to cover security issues comprehensively and rigorously.
The process of setting up Splashtop was a little unlike any other software setup, but I was able to do it quickly and without any frustration. It works the way I expect it to, which is better than a lot of the other software I see regularly. Running the Splashtop Business app is a new experience for most of the people I've worked with, but they usually pick up how to use it in just minutes.
Yes - LogMeIn had become outrageously expensive and their customer service had the nerve to suggest that I charge my clients more so I could give that inflated cost over to them. I am neither gullible nor am I desperate enough to play along with that. I was fully prepared to drop remote access service if I had to pay the prices that LogMeIn and TeamViewer want for their services.
