Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
I've used Splashtop in probably the most basic way for many years. I keep a computer at home and one in my office and it saves me from needing to bring my laptop home every day. I keep mostly all my files on an external drive in my office and Splashtop is the most convenient way to access my office files regardless where I am. And on the odd occassion when I may bring my external drive home but forget to bring it back to the office, because I have Splashtop Business on both computers, I'm never without access to my files. I've promoted Splashtop to a number of associates and even family members and the ones who have tried it, love it.
Pros
- Allows access to files when using more than one computer
- If I'm logging into Splashtop on my office computer, the screen does blank in the event I'm working on something sensitive with others close by in the office
Cons
- It may not be the case anymore, but in the past I found it a little confusing when setting up Splashtop, there was a difference between Splashtop and Splashtop Business
Again I covered part of the question in my first response, however the log in feels secure but not cumbersome.
I know I'm being redundant, but I initially found the differentiation between Splashtop and Splashtop Business a bit confusing.
