Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We use Splashtop to provide remote support to out clientes. The main reason to use Splashtop is its easy of use and the fact that we can connect to our clients computers without them having to do anything but at the same time we provide them with security as no one out of our account can connect to their computers.
Pros
- Fast connection with no need for users to do or execute anything
- It is very easy to use, you can change display if there is more than one with just one clic
- We consider it a very secure tool as only agents from our account can connect and user confirmation or aditional password to connect can be added
Cons
- It is not frequent but there are times the program on PC freezes and it has to be restarted
- Support cost has decreased about 30% with time, fuel saved with this tool
Security is one of Splashtops best features, because when we install agents, computers are linked to our support account and the is no other way these computers are accesed. Additional, user connection confirmation or connectio password can bee added providing even more security
We were able to get up and running very fast, in our case our main client support was also using Splashtop and with simply changing the code to our account we got to access and stop the previous provider from accesing the computers.
