Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop

As the sole IT guy at the company, Splashtop SOS has been a lovely option at a competitive price! Only being used by myself but has allowed me to remote onto not just our Windows Devices, but users' mobile phones to help me troubleshoot issues with M365 apps for example.

Pros

  • Can be deployed via Intune

Cons

  • SSO with 365 Accounts
  • API Access
  • Pays for itself
  • Single license cost over 12 months is honestly peanuts!
  • No negatives from our company
Extremely easy. I deploy the SOS via Intune meaning its on the desktop ready for users, they just need to provide me the code and done. No issue with lag either. Admin Access grants me all the access I need without needing the end user to ok anything!
Meets our needs perfectly! Always nice when 2FA is offered on accounts, which we have on!
Took seconds to get up and running when first taken on a couple years ago. Especially coming from a competitor, Splashtop is virtually a plug and play solution for us.
Yes - Teamviewer. It was far too expensive!

Microsoft AssistMe. Any UAC prompt would require user intervention which wasn't handy when they walked away from the machine!

As most of our staff are remote across the UK, it allows me to sit back in my chair and fix a solid 95% of issues that arise. Combined with Intune, this honestly has helped me as the only IT guy in the company at the moment. End users have never had any issue following my guide on how to get me connected either.
