Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We are a small business and I am a one many IT department. Having the ability to service and update all of our work computers from one place has been invaluable. Splashtop has worked very well for us to accomplish this.
Pros
- Ability to see and update all computers from one place
- Allows us to install software without running from one computer to another
- Allows secure work from home access
Cons
- Sometimes text is too small when Splashtop converts resolution from a remote computer.
- While working on a phone is possible, it is impractical for most purposes. Screen size and navigation makes it too difficult.
- We sometimes have difficulty with remote printing not working as expected.
- This simply saves a lot of time for an IT worker keeping up with multiple computers.
- Working remotely allows us to respond promptly to client questions even outside of office hours.
- Working remotely also allows us to get things done even when the weather makes getting to the office difficult.
We think Splashtop provides secure access to our computers. While we still limit who is allowed to use it, it works very well.
Installing and using Splashtop is very simple. We recently replace two computers and installing Splashtop and adding them to our account was a seamless experience.
