Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
Splashtop has enabled our office to work remotely while still having access to our office. It works flawlessly in that you see what you would at your desk. It does not seem to have any delays and the connection is quick
Pros
- Provides access to computer remotely
Cons
- Initial authentication is a bit hard in that you need to have access to your email to get codes
- Hard to find how to use printer from remote location
- We are an office of 6 and using Splashtop during the pandemic has allowed us to be in constant communication, while respecting government rules on closing offices
- We were able to keep our offices running at full capacity with no layoffs
Security features of the program are as we would expect in this day and age.
Other than having to have access to my emails remotely (which I did not at the time), I was able to be up and running in very little time, likely about 5 minutes.
Yes - Go-to-mypc. It was costly and clunky, really didn't like it and avoided using it unless absolutely necessary, whereas Splashtop is so easy to use, you don't give it a second thought.
