Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
We use Splashtop Enterprise to remotely access our production and archive Desktops in our MCR. It is set up on the PCs in our MCR and all tasks are then done via remote access from the homes of the user.
Pros
- easy to set up
- reliable, didnt have a problem to access any of the machines so far
Cons
- audio management - easier way to toggle on and off audio through the remote access
- framerate and quality when editing videos or running live production workflows
- faster time to react
- less commute between users base and MCR
Everything seems secure and robust enough for us so far. As we don't have any critical workflows done over remote we didn't pay close attention to detail in that matter
Very easy and fast to set up. Basic installation and setup was done in a few minutes, from then on it worked like a charm.
