Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
We use Splashtop's Remote Access capabilities throughout our entire company, from Office, District Managers, IT Department all the way down to the store level. This allows us to be able to assist anyone within our company that may have an issue that cannot be easily resolved over the phone without being able to see what the end user is talking about. Our District Managers use it to pull sales numbers from the restaurant level by just logging into their system and getting the data they need. This way they dont have to wait on the store to email this information.
- Remote Desktop
- Inconspicuous Connections to remote computers
- Fast Connection
- Low Bandwidth Requirements
- Remembers when you blank a screen or lock a keyboard so it will automatically do the same thing next time you connect to that computer.
- Meetings
- Screen Sharing is not user friendly
- Positive Impact would be it is easier to assign single locations from a group to a user instead of having to give the user access to the entire group.
- Negative, need some type of meeting platform, screen share is not that friendly and if you want to give someone access to your screen you cannot with Screen Share.
- Positive, Splashtop Enterprise works on Android as well as iOS.
Splashtop Enterprise exceeded my hopes for security. With other software, we were constantly having issues with staff taking their ID and password home for that specific software to be able to connect to their store computer remotely. This is against our company policies, with Splashtop unless you have an account set up by your administrator and are assigned to that machine there is no way you can have access to that or any computer.
We have over 175 locations in 6 states plus over 50 office staff throughout those same 6 states. With Splashtop Enterprise it was easy to just email a link to everyone, they opened the link which downloaded the installer and assigned that machine to our company profile. From there it was just setting up Groups and assigning users to the groups they needed access to. Couldn't be easier.
Yes - Splashtop Enterprise replaced Teamviewer as Teamviewers prices kept going up every year and there were no additional features being added. Not to mention the lack of security to the remote machine that TeamViewer provided.
