Overall Satisfaction with Sprout Social

We use Sprout to post content and monitor all of our social media channels for our nonprofit. We post to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. We use it also to create reports to help us understand how to optimize what we're doing. We do not use it to monitor competitors or the media.

Pros

  • Schedule Social media posts.
  • Respond to social media comments.
  • Create detailed reports for overall metrics of social media channels.

Cons

  • Unless you upgrade, reports aren't that customizable.
  • Functionality with Instagram stories and clicks is terrible.
  • Time savings is evident.
  • Allowing multiple users to collaborate on tasks is effective.

It's great for what we need. We have a legacy price. If it cost more, I wouldn't use it.

If you need to post to socials by multiple people in an organization, sprout is helpful. If you're using it to respond to comments, it's great. If you're looking to use it to really help you create content, it's not useful.
