Overall Satisfaction with Sprout Social

For us, Sprout Social facilitates fairly easy coordination across a large team, collaboration on scheduling various strategic digital content pieces and monitoring the social media activity of our organization's members, as well as compiling performance analytics and reporting for review by external departments and partners. I and my colleagues use the tools on a daily basis.

Pros

  • Short approvals processes of social media content
  • Visualization of content scheduling in the calendar feature
  • Easy quick reporting of simple analytics
  • Tagging content and campaigns quickly

Cons

  • Adding new and emerging social media platforms
  • More intuitive and easy-to-use reporting
  • Positive: Saves time when scheduling social media posts
  • Negative: AI suggestions for social drafts are off the mark
  • Positive: Saves time in onboarding since most tools are intuitive
We haven't tested this explicitly so I don't have a confirmed answer to this question. However, we do use Sprout Social's various suggestions and tweaks (such as scheduling posts at suggested times, as rated on a five-star scale) so it's possible our social performance has been slightly boosted by these features.
Overall, Sprout Social's most-often-used tools (for our team) are pretty intuitive and easy to onboard onto, such as scheduling on the calendar feature, or adding an approver to the workflow.
They are pretty similar in many ways. However, I'm now most comfortable in Sprout Social, both from having used Sprout Social the longest and finding the UX of its basic tools most intuitive in comparison to other products.

Do you think Sprout Social delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Sprout Social's feature set?

Yes

Did Sprout Social live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Sprout Social go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Sprout Social again?

Yes

For organizations that are managing multiple accounts across several social media properties and have a need to schedule and tag content, Sprout Social makes sense. This is especially true for larger digital teams or ones with seasonal turnover (e.g. campaign firms) where multiple users need to submit content but shouldn't have the account credentials revealed to them.
